This magic Resort is located at 30 minutes north
from Florence city centre within the medieval
village of Scarperia.
All the
large rooms (smallest size is 35 sqm) are elegantly
furnished in warm colours and natural materials and
all of them will offer you the best of the comfort
and wellness, all designed according to the dictates
of “habitat philosophy”. This philosophy is founded
on the continual search for harmony with the
country, expressed in the choice of flooring,
lighting and the shades of fabrics and finishing, in
order to create an atmosphere of total well-being.
 
All
rooms are located within the restored ancient
farmhouse and magnificient villa dating back to the
XVII century and are equipped with air conditioning,
minibar, TV, free satellite TV, safe deposit box and
WIFI internet connection, as well as an exclusive

quality gourmet restaurant, the welness and fitness

The
Gourmet Restaurant of the Resort deserve a
particularly important description: it serves Tuscan
specialities and dishes from the specific area of
Tuscany where the resort is located, with freshly
made pasta and local ingredients. A well-stocked
cellar which satisfies even the most demanding
palates and the most important occasions.
The
restaurant is in the main part of the resort and has
an adjoining outdoor terrace with a view of the lake
of Cignano and the practice field.
Tuscan cuisine makes use of simple and genuine
ingredients such as bread, olive oil, vegetables,
meat from local farms and home made pasta. The
splendour and eccentricity of the Renaissance courts
have added to this a variety of more elaborate
dishes which also satisfy more demanding palates.
Our
chef suggests a menu in which ingredients in season
are used, with
“theme”
evenings and a variety of culinary events inspired
by a choice of wines or locally found ingredients
(wild mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts) as well as
food from other regions.

The 21x11 meters pool and the Jacuzzi with
waterfalls pool have filtered salt water.

provision of sun beds and umbrellas. The Pool Bar is
opened every day for tasty snacks and refreshing
drinks.

Opened
in 1992, with 18 holes par 72, and a Championship
course of 6.452 meters long, the Golf Club Poggio
dei Medici course is one of the finest in Italy.
Designed by the architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti
and by the golfer Baldovino Dassù, it was built to
USGA standards. Poggio dei Medici was immediately
recognized as "The Best New Golf Course" in Italy. It
was recently selected by "Condè Nast Traveller" for
its "Hot List" as "The best Golf Club", ahead of the
likes of the K Club in Ireland and the Greebrier in
the USA.
The
Golf Course, set in the Mugello valley, sheltered by
Apennines, offers 5 different starting tees for an
exciting game for all levels.
The offer includes an extensive Driving Range
complete with Pitching and Putting Greens, bunkers,
6 covered and 24 opened positions, PGA instructor
available for private or team lessons.
Golf Carts, hand-trunks and Golf Bags are available
for rent. Caddies on request.
The
Course is open all the year round, seven days a week.
