Our Golf Relais has an astonishing position: the park of the Relais confines with the fairways of the famous Firenze Golf Club, the oldest golf course in Tuscany,   established in 1934. We are on the CHIANTI ROUTE at just 7 km from city centre Florence, in the very middle of the famous CHIANTI LAND - all around: peace, the Firenze Golf Course and the beautiful wineyards of our world known country-side, while, at a few steps, the beauties of centuries of
history and culture.

The Relais is runned by a welcoming nobile family. A splendid swimming pool is available for all guests. The suites are on the first floor of the old palazzo which has been tastefully restored. Special care was given to the finishing touches. All rooms and suites are large and air-conditioned and have been finely restored with tuscan antiques to welcome the guests. En suite bathroom with bath and shower in all rooms.
The Buffet Breakfast is served in the dining room or in your bedroom.
The Country House is refined and elegant as to make your golf vacation as comfortable as possible.

A bus is available to bring you every one hour to the city centre Florence and back (if you don't want to use the car to go to the city centre Florence).
The splendid land around the Relais will give you the oppurtunity, after golf, of visiting the many full of history old villages and eventually taste the Chianti wine in the many private cellars of the land.  (YOUR ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND A WINE-YARD TOUR + WINE TASTING TOUR DURING YOUR STAY). At night, after a day of golf, you will be sipping a glass of wine in the veranda of the park. Then you can choose to dine by the Relais or try one of the many small and typical restaurants nearby.very many
of them located at less then 5/10 minutes distance. (A list of the best reastaurant will be given to you by the hotel's
reception).


At 500 metres is located the entrance of one of the 4 Golf Clubs where green-fee is included in your the package. There are no limitation at all the 4 golf courses, you can practice at the driving range and have your round of golf on each of the golf courses. Golf courses are open daily from 8.30 o' clock.
You can also choose to play more than once on 1 or 2 golf courses and skip the ones you don't want to play on.
Consider that all 4 golf courses are TOP QUALITY championship golf courses and have hosted many international competitions for professional players of the first level of the European Tour and of the Challenge Tour. They are, BY FAR, the best golf courses of Tuscany.

transportation, there's a bus that stops in front of the Relais and
brings you every hour to the city centre Florence and back, if you don't
want to use the car to go to the city centre Florence.

- 16 kilometres from FLORENCE AIRPORT - aeroporto Firenze

- 60 kilometres from PISA AIRPORT

- 40 kilometres from the city of SIENA. Going to Siena for one day, it
will really be a splendid tour because you will pass through all the
Chianti Land: the many characteristic old villages, the splendid valleys
with the famous wineyards and, at the end, the world famous enchanting
village of Siena.
Sightseeings: if you want to enjoy the area during the time
you'll stay there, we normally suggest our clients to organize them in
this way:

2 or 3 days - Florence

1 day - Siena and San Gimignano

1 day - Pisa and Lucca

1 day - a wine tasting tour in the many wineyards of the Chainti Land +
sightseeing of the many very interesting small pictoresque villages of
the area, like Greve in Chainti, Castellina in Chianti, Monteroni,
Monteriggioni, Radda, Figline...

1 day - (if you want) some few hours to one of the most interesting
outlet of the best brands we have in Italy. You can find there gucci,
fendi, armani, valentino, and all the most prestigious brand of the made
in Italy. And a visit to the Mugello Circuit and its museum.


POGGIO DE MEDICI GOLF CLUB
The Course, by professional player and Golf Course designer Baldovino Dassł, allows for five different playing routes within its 18 holes. As you play this fascinating course, you can also appreciate the typical Tuscan scenery, viewed from a vantage point near Scarperia. You will find yourself on a world-class Golf Course deep in the countryside, only a few kilometres from Florence.

MONTECATINI GOLF CLUB
The Montecatini golf course is characterised by a natural course set in the splendid surroundings of tuscan hills; the course has really highlighted the natural beauty of the place without damaging it. The course consistes of 18 different holes, were the architect Crose has been able to integrate the natural obstacles (lakes, streams, woods, ditches) with the undulation of the ground, creating an amazing course. The numerous dog-legs need an exact understanding by the player and they are particularly suitable for those who want to have a clear sight of the whole course. The greens have the same features as th course, with the same level of difficulty. It is always possible to note the sloping of the land so that the player may always improve his put, on the other side, the sloping of the course may act as a spur for skillful players as well as for beginners. The high quality of the course is surely due to the excelent maintenance carried on in the last 9 years; we can undoubtedly state that the features of the course will satisfy even the most demanding players' expectations.

FIRENZE GOLF CLUB
If you look at the scorecard you might think at first that this is an easy course because its length is "only" 5,741 meters. But watch out! Difficulties on golf courses are not just meters. The Firenze Golf Course is a natural course designed and built in 1934 in the Chianti hills and it exploits at best the natural characteristics of the Tuscan landscape: the cypress trees and olive trees, the slopes that curve and follow the magnificent scenery, the small greens which are often very well-defended. These are the obstacles that the golfer comes up against on a course which is part and parcel of Italian golfing history and severely tests players of all sorts. It is not by chance that Circolo Golf Firenze has formed many excellent golfers. The course is an amusing but most challenging test for players who have to devote their skills to playing accurately rather than powerfully.


PAVONIERE GOLF CLUB
Le Pavoniere golf club was designed by Arnold Palmer and inaugurated in September 1986. Built on land so dear to Lorenzo de Medici, among fields and water pools developed during the Renaissance period, the club house is situated within a magnificent eighteenth century villa. The 18 hole course is demanding and the club organizes "green weeks" consisting of golf clinics, golf competitions and cultural and gastronomic excursions. A round of golf can be combined with the pleasure of an unforgettable visit to Florence and Prato. The Le Pavoniere is the golf course nearest to the Florence airport (15 km).
