BOGOGNO GOLF CLUB
Designed by the American Robert von Hagge, the Circolo Golf Bogogno stretches over two championship 18 hole, par 72 courses and combines technical features of a high standard with the breathtaking natural beauty of the place: 220 hectares of uncontaminated terrain that include woods, lakes and streams, a majestic view over Monte Rosa and a mild climate. Extra green-fee: 70,00 euro






GOLF CLUB LE ROBINIE
In the early nineties, when Jack Nicklaus found himself in front of approximately 70 hectares of level ground between Olgiate and Solbiate Olona to build a golf course, he was convinced that he would be able to design a unique course and he did all that was necessary to made it happen. He hired the best equipment to dig and dig and dig! And so bulldozers moved more than two million cubic meters of earth and gravel in order to create this masterpiece of hills, terraces, bunkers and lakes, for which Jack Nicklaus courses are famous. There are more then a hundred of golf courses throughout the world created by Jack Nicklaus, but "Le Robinie" is the only one in all of Italy. Even though it is a new course, it is already considered one of the best in all of Europe. Extra green-fee: 60,00 euro.

CASTELCONTURBIA GOLF CLUB
The "Italian Golf Manual" states that a golf course was first designed here in 1898 covering the same area where the modern holes are to be found today.
The project for the present layout was designed and carried out entirely by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The spot is ideal, set among age-old trees, streams and ponds, over slightly undulating ground and the final result is one of his best courses.
The course blends magnificently with the unspoilt rural countryside, with Monte Rosa as a backdrop. Today this golf course is one of the most interesting in Europe, offering 27 holes over three courses, a notable variety of golfing challenges and a routing which allows golfers to give their best. GOLF CLUB DES ILES BORROMEES
The area around Lake Maggiore with its luxuriant vegetation and vivid colours, the endless variety of trees and flowers, is the ideal setting for golfing.
The designer is Marco Croze and the course is routed over 72 hectares of natural ground, with full respect for the existing countryside, except for two peat-bog areas which have now been turned into lakes. Although very recent, the course is certainly ideally suited from a technical point of view for top level championships. Extra green-fee: 60,00 euro.




GOLF CLUB DEI LAGHI
Eighteen holes set among a wood, pools of water, the backdrop of the Prealps and the majestic horizons dominated by Monte Rosa. Golf dei Laghi is definitely one of the most interesting courses among those recently in the limelight in Italian golfing. Hence its slogan "discover it while it's becoming famous". Designed by Piero Mancinelli, the course was founded as a championship course suited to hosting scratch or amateur players of a high level. But beginners or players with a high handicap are welcome. It starts in the clearing where the vast open spaces allow those with a powerful swing to give free rein to their qualities. But is necessary to bear in mind always the obstacles and bunkersthat protect the greens. One then moves further into the woods, where the fairways become narrower and perspectives change. It is necessary to know how to measure shots, always making sure to control them. Extra green-fee: 60,00 euro.
